The Mapleton Country Market is held on the 4th Saturday of every month 8am to 12pm, at the Mapleton School Carpark and is a part of a group of markets (The Beerburrum Country Markets, Montville Market, Beerwah Tower Green Market, Mapleton Country Market, Maleny Sunday Market, and Mooloolah Valley Four Seasons Market) across the Glasshouse Country and Hinterland areas which have combined to form the Hinterland Market Trail.

The local community recognises the financial and social benefits the market brings to both the local and wider community. The Mapleton Country Market is run under the aegis of the local community association, MADCA.

The market features local vendors and businesses, which help support our local economy and encourage community entrepreneurship. It offers fresh produce and other goods that are sourced locally, promoting healthy eating habits and supporting local agriculture.

The Country Market provides a space for people to gather and socialise, fostering a sense of community and promoting local culture and tradition. It also promotes sustainable practices, such as reducing packaging waste or promoting reusable bags, which can have a positive environmental impact. Additionally, the Country Market helps increase access to fresh, healthy food for people who may not have easy access to grocery stores or other food outlets in Nambour and elsewhere.

The Mapleton Country Market is a valuable asset for our community, providing a central gathering place that supports local businesses, promotes healthy eating habits, and fosters a sense of community and sustainability.

The Mapleton Country Market is part of the Hinterland Market Trail, a collaborative effort involving five other country markets on the Sunshine Coast. These include the Beerburrum Hall Country Markets, Beerwah, Tower Green Market, Maleny Sunday Markets, Montville Market, Mooloola Four Seasons Market, Crystal Waters and Kenilworth Country Markets. This unique partnership means that every weekend of the month, whether on a Saturday or Sunday, market enthusiasts can find a local market where they can purchase items directly from the hands that crafted or grew them, thus directly supporting the local artisans and producers.

Visit the Hinterland Market Trail Information page to learn more about the market and other markets in the area.

Come and join us at the Mapleton Country Market to support local businesses, enjoy fresh produce, and connect with our 'market' community!
